Strategies and Techniques for Conducting Successful Interviews in Support of Corporate Investigations
This interactive course introduces a variety of practical interviewing techniques that are easy to learn and implement and are tailored specifically for today’s corporate environment. Every technique is designed to help investigative specialists obtain complete and accurate information in a non-adversarial and empathetic manner which reduces much of the conflict and anxiety that is otherwise present during misconduct investigations. Emphasis is also placed on teaching participants to confidently, respectfully, and efficiently obtain admissions of wrongdoing from subjects, as these critical admissions permit quick resolution of the case with minimal disruption to the workplace, eliminate inconclusive or disputable results, and significantly reduce the costs of termination settlements and post-employment claims.
This training is beneficial for novice and experienced practitioners from Human Resources, Employee Relations, Security, and Legal, and others who participate in or support all types of corporate investigations involving employees, managers, executives, contractors, and other third-parties.
